Review meeting of CCPA standard Technical Specification for Nonmetal Shear Connectors of Precast Concrete Sandwich Facade Panels was held by CCPA and CBMF on December 28, 2022. 40 representatives from scientific research and architectural design institutes, colleges and universities, industry associations, production enterprises and users attended the meeting, of which 16 were members of review committee.

Review meeting of CCPA standard Technical Specification for Nonmetal Shear Connectors of Precast Concrete Sandwich Facade Panels was held by CCPA and CBMF on December 28, 2022. 40 representatives from scientific research and architectural design institutes, colleges and universities, industry associations, production enterprises and users attended the meeting, of which 16 were members of review committee.
The main drafter introduced the standard preparation process, the collection of comments and the test data that support the main technical requirements in the specification. The review committee reviewed all the documents, examined the specification text word by word and put forward revisions. The review committee made conclusions that technical indexes are advanced and applicable and the specification reaches international advanced level in general. Finally, the CCPA standard was approved by unanimous approval.
Based on domestic and foreign research and basic verification tests, Technical Specification for Nonmetal Shear Connectors of Precast Concrete Sandwich Facade Panels summarizes the relevant research results and engineering practice experience of the application of nonmetal shear connectors in precast concrete sandwich facade panels in recent years in China, and puts forward the technical requirements for the material and product performance, design, installation and quality inspection of nonmetal shear connector systems. The implementation of this specification will improve the technical level of the production of precast concrete sandwich facade panels, and promote the popularization and application of precast concrete sandwich facade panels in prefabricated buildings.
