The star product of CSCEC China West Construction Building Materials Research Institute "Rapid Repair-I" has been successfully applied

On March 26 2022, the rapid repair material "Rapid Repair-I", independently developed by CSCEC China West Construction Building Materials Research Institute, was successfully applied in an airport in Chengdu. In order to ensure the safety of aircraft takeoff and landing, the airport runway board needs to be repaired quickly without affecting the navigation. The "Rapid Repair-I" successfully solved this problem by its good working performances and ultra-fast hardening and early strength mechanical properties. The complete process of mobilization - cutting - roughening - mixing - pouring - demobilization - navigation takes no more than 2 hours, which was highly recognized by the owner.

Emergency repair

"Rapid Repair-I" is one of the ultra-fast hard and early strength series products independently developed by CSCEC China West Construction Building Materials Research Institute. It has a flexural strength of more than 5.0MPa and a compressive strength of more than 30.0MPa in one hour, which can realize rapid repair of the airport pavement and quickly meet the airport navigation requirements.
