8th May 2020,CCPA & CBMF organized the "Technical Specification for the Application of Concrete in Urban Comprehensive Pipe Gallery Structures" (Project No: 2017-38-xbjh) Association Standards Review meeting in the form of a web meeting. Twenty-five representatives from research institutes, industry associations, manufacturers and users attended the meeting, including 16 review experts. The meeting reviewed the "Technical Regulations for the Application of Concrete in Urban Comprehensive Pipe Gallery" compiled by Beijing University of Technology and other units to submit for review.

The main drafter of the standard introduced the preparation process of the standard, the main technical requirements of the standard, and the summary of soliciting opinions; the review team reviewed all the materials, reviewed the standard text verbatim and proposed amendments. The review team believes that the standard evaluation indicators are advanced, applicable, and highly maneuverable, and generally reach the domestic advanced level. In the end, the association standard was unanimously adopted.
Based on the domestic research and verification work, the "Technical Regulations for the Application of Concrete in Urban Comprehensive Pipe Gallery" comprehensively summarizes the relevant research results and engineering practice experience of China's urban comprehensive pipe gallery structural concrete in recent years, and draws on foreign advanced technology. Standard specifications are provided for the design, construction and quality inspection of concrete for new construction, expansion and reconstruction of urban comprehensive pipe gallery structures. This standard puts forward for the first time the requirements for the durability index (chloride ion permeability coefficient, 56d drying shrinkage rate, unit cracking area) of urban comprehensive pipe gallery structure concrete, and introduces the calculation method of the concrete design durability service life check calculation method into the urban comprehensive pipe gallery project. The main technical indicators are set reasonably and the operation applicability is strong. The implementation of this standard will be of great significance for improving the quality of urban integrated pipe gallery concrete engineering and leading the development of urban integrated pipe gallery concrete technology to high-end.
