On August 4, Chen Yu, Deputy Secretary General of China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association (CCPA), Xu Jie, Deputy Secretary General of CCPA, Huang Ling, Director of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Department visited Shangdong Lutai Building Material Science And Technology Group (hereinafter referred to as “Shangdong Lutai”) to conduct a site visit. Through exchanges and discussions and field visits, the visiting group gained an in-depth understanding of Shandong Lutai's technological innovation and product application in domestic and foreign markets. 

The visiting group was warmly received by Zhang Shen, Deputy General Manager of Shandong Lutai, and Sun Meng, Manager of International Business Department and relative colleagues.

At the meeting, Mr. Zhang Shen welcomed the arrival of the visiting group, and introduced Shandong Lutai's general situation and its development history and strategy of going out. After more than 20 years of development, Shandong Lutai has five subsidiaries, mainly engaged in four series of products belonging to two categories of building materials and chemical industry. The business scope covers most of the regions in China, and goes to the international market.

Zhang Shen introduced the innovations of Shandong Lutai in the field of assembled buildings, mainly focusing on the asbestos-free fiber cement boards, which have light weight and high strength, easy construction，excellent acoustic insulation and fireproofing properties, and have a good prospect for development in green and low-carbon buildings.

Huang Ling introduced the basic situation of China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association (CCPA), focused on the exchange of the Association's international cooperation and “the B&R” related work, and jointly explored the development opportunities, risks and challenges of enterprises going out, hoping to better provide customized services for the enterprises to go out in the next step.

In June 2023, Shandong Lutai’s asbestos-free fiber cement boards was selected in the third batch of “List of Recommended Catalogue of Key Products, Equipment and Technologies for Belt and Road ” issued by CCPA. Its products have been applied to projects such as Atlantis Hotel in Dubai, Taihang Guobin Hotel in Shijiazhuang, Shanghai Railway Station South Station, and post-disaster reconstruction in Turkey. Shandong Lutai is committed to building an internationalized management team to make Lutai Building Materials become a force for future international development in the concrete and cement-based products industry.
