From September 6 to 8, 2023, the Advanced Seminar on Assembly Concrete Building Construction Technology and PC Factory Management under the the guidance of “Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality” Strategy was held in Beijing, which was jointly organized by China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association (CCPA) and Institute of Technical Information of Building Materials Industry (ITIBM), with a total of 51 trainees attending. Bai Baohui, Director of Professional and Technical Personnel Management Department of Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Gao Zhi, Secretary General of CCPA, Chen Yu, Deputy Secretary General of CCPA, Guo Qun, Deputy Director of ITIBM, and Wu Duanjing, Director of Certification and Evaluation Center, and other leaders attended the opening ceremony. Guo Qun, Deputy Director of the Institute, introduced the eight business segments of the Building Materials Industry Technical Information Institute which has the responsibility to take the responsibility of the task of public welfare training in the industry, and has the obligation to lead the development of the industry as it is the public welfare scientific research institution in the building materials industry. At the same time, he briefly analyzed the current background of the building materials industry and the challenges faced, as well as the significance of assembled buildings under the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality background.

Guo Xueming, expert consultant of CCPA, gave the first class of the seminar with the title of "Where to Go", which focused on exploring the development mode and innovation of assembled buildings, the technical research and reference of assembled buildings in foreign countries, and the classic cases in foreign countries. On the morning of September 7, expert Qin Heng, technical partner of the Beijing Regional Xiong’an Green Research and Development Center of Vanke Group, gave a detailed explanation of the course content in terms of cross-border exchanges between building components and assembled buildings, coordinated development, quality management and acceptance of components.

In the afternoon of September 7, Liu Hao, Chief Engineer of Beijing Yugou Co., Ltd, gave a lecture on four aspects, including overview of prefabricated components related standards, inspection and acceptance standards of components in Beijing, full production management of prefabricated components, and quality management of typical prefabricated components.

On the morning of September 8, Wu Duanjing, Director of the Certification and Evaluation Center of the ITIBM, gave a detailed explanation from carbon neutral assembly building practice, “Carbon peaking and Carbon neutrality” strategy to emission reduction innovation.

After this advanced seminar, the participants are required to write a paper or communication material related to the content of the seminar. After passing the examination, the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau will issue a Certificate of Completion of the Beijing Advanced Seminar, and the training hours will be credited to the hours of continuing education for professional and technical personnel.
