The year 2023 will mark the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, which is an important milestone in realizing the five major development goals of " policy coordination, facilities connectivity, unimpeded trade, financial integration and people-to-people bonds ". Over the past ten years, China has signed "Belt and Road" cooperation agreements with more than 150 countries and 30 international organizations to jointly promote the high-quality development of Belt and Road construction. Concrete industry, as an important basic material for infrastructure connection and housing construction, is one of the important industries to participate in international cooperation and the construction of "Belt and Road".

In order to further promote the technical exchange of concrete materials and concrete structure among the countries and regions along the Belt and Road, to deeply discuss and solve the key, difficult and pain points of the industry development, so as to implement the guiding line of “bringing in” and “going global”, it has been decided to hold the Second Belt and Road International Seminar on Concrete Technology in Guangzhou, China on November 17 to 19, 2023.
