According to Tang Qiang, Director of Industrial Operations at Xiong’an Group Infrastructure Construction Co., Ltd., the three major concrete suppliers—Rongxi, Zhaili, and Zangang Concrete Companies—treat brand quality as a matter of life. According to Tang Qiang, since entering its large-scale development phase, Xiong’an Group Infrastructure Construction Co., Ltd. has upheld the philosophy that “quality is the lifeline”, striving to build a green building materials industry chain. In the construction of roads in the New Area, the water stabilization supplied by the three concrete companies ensures that there are no cracks in the paving by strictly controlling the amount of cement and the water content of sand and gravel aggregates; for asphalt concrete, basalt aggregate is used in the surface layers, significantly enhancing the pavement’s blackness, improving both aesthetic appearance and durability. In utility tunnel projects, the concrete provided is designed with premium raw materials and compensating shrinkage technology, which help control cracking and enhance the durability of the tunnel structure. This ensures no cracks or leakage, securing the safe operation of critical municipal utilities—water, electricity, gas, communication, and heating—and providing high-quality infrastructure for urban residents.


At Hebei Xiong’a Rongxi Concrete Co., Ltd., every grain of sand and every batch of concrete is fully traceable. An automated aggregate sampling and testing system at the vehicle entrance inspects each truckload of materials for moisture, silt, and fine particle content, eliminating human interference and ensuring accurate, objective results.

“All mix proportions, testing data, and production records are fully integrated into our production management system,” said Chu Yanan, Chief Engineer at Hebei Xiong’an Rongxi Concrete Co., Ltd. “This ensures precise mix measurement down to the liang and allows complete traceability of production and testing data.” It is reported that the three concrete companies strictly control raw material sourcing, implement intelligent production throughout the entire process, and have built a comprehensive intelligent supervision platform. From each truckload of raw materials entering the plant to each batch of concrete leaving, every step is automated and digitized.


“Our archives store raw material test reports, product quality test reports, production logs, and other records dating back to 2020,” Chu added. “All documentation is filed monthly and organized by year. Paper records are kept for at least six years, while electronic records are stored permanently. Our goal is to ensure that every grain of sand and every cubic meter of concrete from our batching plants is fully traceable and can stand the test of time.”


As a “zero-emission” “green factory”, the company’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond production into every operational detail. Transportation vehicles complete automatic power change in 5 minutes. The “plug-and-play” all-electric concrete mixer trucks can complete a full battery swap in just five minutes at the intelligent battery exchange station located inside the plant. “This process is extremely efficient,” said a driver at Hebei Xiong’an Zhaili Concrete Co., Ltd., while swapping his truck’s battery. “Every day, 80 electric mixer trucks perform this ‘transformation’—removing depleted batteries and installing fully charged ones.” The entire battery swap process is handled by an automated hoisting system, with a daily service capacity of 168 swaps.

"Compared with traditional charging methods, battery swapping allows for at least one additional delivery trip per vehicle, significantly improving operational efficiency,” said Zhou Linwang, General Manager of Hebei Xiong’an Zhaili Concrete Co., Ltd. “Moreover, this method is not restricted by environmental regulations, enabling uninterrupted concrete transport via electric mixer trucks and ensuring high-efficiency support for the construction of Xiong’an New Area.”


It is reported that the three concrete companies have been recognized as Hebei "New Special Expertise” SMES and designated as Hebei Green Factories. To date, the companies have supplied a total of 13.5 million m3 of concrete, 2.3 million t of asphalt, and 4 million tons of cement stabilized, contributing 392 million yuan in taxes. Their products have supported over 200 key construction projects across the New Area.
