A review meeting of CCPA standard Technical Specification for Application of Reinforced Concrete Jacking Pipe was held by CCPA and CBMF on April 1, 2024. 25 representatives from scientific research and architectural design institutes, industry associations, inspection bodies and laboratories, production enterprises, and users attended the meeting, of which 15 were members of the review committee.

The main drafter introduced the standard preparation process, the collection of comments, and the test data that support the main technical requirements in the standard. The review committee reviewed all the documents, examined the standard text word by word, and put forward revisions. The review committee made conclusions that the content of this standard is systematic and comprehensive, technical indexes are advanced and applicable, and the standard reaches an international advanced level in general. Finally, the CCPA standard was approved with unanimous approval.

On the basis of internaitonal and domestic research and basic experimental verification, Technical Specification for Application of Reinforced Concrete Jacking Pipe sets forth the suitable types, the selection principles and quality requirements of reinforced concrete jacking pipes, provides control requirements for pipe-jacking construction facilities and equipment as well as key construction process links, and stipulates the quality control and acceptance requirements for pipe-jacking engineering. It has formed an application technical regulation that integrates "products" and "construction". The implementation of this standard is of positive significance for guiding the selection of pipes for pipe-jacking construction, standardizing the pipe-jacking construction process, and improving the quality of engineering.
