A review meeting of CCPA standard Evaluation Index of Green and Low-carbon Credit for Ready-mixed Concrete Plant was held by CCPA on April 23, 2024. 32 representatives from research institutes, industry associations, ready mixed concrete enterprises, and users attended the meeting, of which 15 were members of the review committee.

The main drafter introduced the standard preparation process, the collection of comments, and the test data that support the main technical requirements in the standard. The review committee reviewed all the documents, examined the standard text word by word, and put forward revisions. The review committee made conclusions that the content of this standard is systematic and comprehensive, technical indexes are reasonable and applicable, and the standard reaches a domestic advanced level in general. Finally, the CCPA standard was approved with unanimous approval.

On the basis of investigation and basic verification, the Evaluation Index of Green and Low-carbon Credit for Ready-mixed Concrete Plant specifies the principles and basic requirements for the green and low-carbon credit evaluation of ready-mixed concrete plants and formulates an index system for the green and low-carbon credit evaluation. The implementation of this standard will be conducive to enhancing the awareness of actively fulfilling green and low-carbon credits of ready-mixed concrete plants, and improving their ability and level of fulfilling green and low-carbon credits.
