Review meeting of CCPA standards Basic Conditions for Laboratory Construction of Glassfiber Reinforced Cement (GRC) Manufacturer and Basic Conditions for Laboratory Construction of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) Non-structural Components Manufacturer was held by CCPA and CBMF on June 14, 2024. 24 representatives from research and architectural design institutes, colleges and universities, industry associations, inspection bodies, laboratories, production enterprises, and users attended the meeting, of which 15 were members of the review committee.
The main drafter of the two standards introduced the standard preparation process, the collection of comments, and the test data that support the main technical requirements in the two standards, respectively. The review committee reviewed all the documents, examined the standard text word by word, and put forward revisions. The review committee made conclusions that the technical indexes of both standards are advanced and applicable, the test methods are operable, and they both reach a domestic advanced level in general. Finally, the two CCPA standards were approved with unanimous approval.
Based on extensive research and verification work, the two CCPA standards have stipulated the classification, environmental conditions, and testing capabilities of the basic conditions for the construction of laboratories in enterprises producing GRC and UHPC non-structural components, and have put forward the basic conditions for the construction of laboratories of different grades in production enterprises. The implementation of the two standards will regulate the laboratory capacity building of enterprises producing GRC and UHPC non-structural components, thereby providing technical support for enhancing the quality control capabilities of their products. This is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of the industry.
