A review meeting of CCPA Standard for Quality Inspection of Precast Concrete Components was held by CCPA on July 17, 2024. 40 representatives from scientific research and architectural design institutes, industry associations, inspection bodies, laboratories, production enterprises, and users attended the meeting, of which 15 were members of the review committee.

The main drafter introduced the standard preparation process, the collection of comments, and the test data that support the main technical requirements in the standard. The review committee reviewed all the documents, examined the standard text word by word, and put forward revisions. The review committee made conclusions that the content of this standard is systematic and comprehensive, innovative and highly operational, which is conducive to improving the production technology level of precast concrete components, and the standard reaches an international advanced level in general. Finally, the CCPA standard was approved with unanimous approval.

On the basis of investigation and basic verification, Standard for Quality Inspection of Precast Concrete Components comprehensively summarizes the advanced technical experience and practical achievements of new products, new technologies and new materials of precast concrete components, and puts forward the basic requirements, inspection items, inspection methods and technical indicators for the quality inspection of molds, steel bars and accessories, concrete and supporting materials of precast concrete components. The inspection contents of new type precast concrete components, such as structure, insulation, and decoration, have been improved. The implementation of this standard will promote the high-quality development of the precast concrete components industry.
