A review meeting of CCPA standard Technical Specification for Production of Prefabricated High-strength Concrete Tower Pieces for Wind Turbine Tower Tubes was held by CCPA on August 14, 2024. 31 representatives from scientific research and architectural design institutes, industry associations, inspection bodies, laboratories, production enterprises, and users attended the meeting, of which 15 were members of the review committee.
A review meeting of CCPA standard Technical Specification for Production of Prefabricated High-strength Concrete Tower Pieces for Wind Turbine Tower Tubes was held by CCPA on August 14, 2024. 31 representatives from scientific research and architectural design institutes, industry associations, inspection bodies, laboratories, production enterprises, and users attended the meeting, of which 15 were members of the review committee.
The main drafter introduced the standard preparation process, the collection of comments, and the test data that support the main technical requirements in the standard. The review committee reviewed all the documents, examined the standard text word by word, and put forward revisions. The review committee made conclusions that the content of this standard is systematic and comprehensive, the main technical indexes are advanced and applicable, and the standard reaches a domestic advanced level in general. Finally, the CCPA standard was approved with unanimous approval.
On the basis of investigation and basic verification, Technical Specification for Production of Prefabricated High-strength Concrete Tower Pieces for Wind Turbine Tower Tubes sets out technical requirements for the mold making, steel bar processing, concrete preparation, tower pieces production and quality inspection of prefabricated high-strength concrete tower pieces used in wind turbine tower tubes, standardizes the production process and improves the quality inspection methods and index system of tower pieces. The implementation of this standard will help enhance the production technology level of prefabricated high-strength concrete tower pieces for wind turbine towers and promote the high-quality development of the wind power industry.
