A review meeting of the CCPA standard Information Management System Application Procedures for Production and Installation of Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe was held by CCPA on December 16, 2024. 24 representatives from scientific research and architectural design institutes, industry associations, inspection bodies, laboratories, production enterprises, and users attended the meeting, of which 14 were members of the review committee.

The main drafter introduced the standard preparation process, the collection of comments, and the test data that support the main technical requirements in the standard. The review committee reviewed all the documents, examined the standard text word by word, and put forward revisions. The review committee made conclusions that the content of this standard is systematic and comprehensive, technical indexes are advanced and applicable, and the standard reaches a domestic advanced level in general. Finally, the CCPA standard was approved with unanimous approval.

On the basis of investigation and basic verification, Information Management System Application Procedures for Production and Installation of Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe comprehensively summarizes the relevant research achievements and engineering practical experience of information technology for PCCP production and installation in recent years. This standard stipulates the technical requirements for productio and installation management systems, proposes the scope of information management, information coding and classification, the scope of information collection and the methods of information collection, and provides a technical basis for the information management work of each link in the life cycle of PCCP, such as process control, quality management, product traceability and construction and installation. The implementation of this standard will prompt the traditional management mode of PCCP production and installation to transform towards informatization and digitalization.
