A review meeting of the CCPA standard Technical Specification for Application of Cast-in-place Foam Concrete Wall was held by CCPA on December 30, 2024. 20 representatives from scientific research and architectural design institutes, industry associations, inspection bodies, laboratories, production enterprises, and users attended the meeting, of which 13 were members of the review committee.

The main drafter introduced the standard preparation process, the collection of comments, and the test data that support the main technical requirements in the standard. The review committee reviewed all the documents, examined the standard text word by word, and put forward revisions. The review committee made conclusions that the content of this standard is systematic and comprehensive, technical indexes are advanced and applicable, and the standard reaches a domestic advanced level in general. Finally, the CCPA standard was approved with unanimous approval.

On the basis of investigation and basic verification, Technical Specification for Application of Cast-in-place Foam Concrete Wall specifies the design, construction and quality acceptance requirements for cast-in-place foam concrete walls, proposes to determine the internal steel wire mesh setting parameters of cast-in-place foam concrete walls based on seismic requirements, optimize the internal reinforcement and the setting of structural columns according to the wall length and height, as well as the construction measures at the junctions of longitudinal and transverse walls and the corners of the walls. The implementation of this standard is conducive to promoting the popularization and application of cast-in-place foam concrete.
