A review meeting of CCPA standard Mineral Shrinkage-reducing Agent for Concrete was held by CCPA on February 28, 2025. 26 representatives from scientific research and architectural design institutes, industry associations, inspection bodies, laboratories, production enterprises, and users attended the meeting, of which 10 were members of the review committee.

The main drafter introduced the standard preparation process, the collection of comments, and the test data that support the main technical requirements in the standard. The review committee reviewed all the documents, examined the standard text word by word, and put forward revisions. The review committee made conclusions that the content of this standard is systematic and comprehensive, innovative and highly operational, and the standard reaches a domestic advanced level in general. Finally, the CCPA standard was approved with unanimous approval.

Mineral Shrinkage-reducing Agent for Concrete, for the first time, put forward and clearly defined technical indicators such as the linear expansion rate and shrinkage rate of mineral shrinkage-reducing agent, filling the gap in the standard for mineral shrinkage-reducing agents. The implementation of this standard will help optimize the costs of concrete enterprises, enhance the performance of concrete, and reduce the risk of early shrinkage cracks in concrete.
