The establishment of the association standard "Technical Regulations for Phosphogypsum Slag Cement-based Materials for Highway Pavement Base Stabilization" and the first working meeting were held on September 16, 2020 in the form of a web conference. 23 representatives from China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association and Hubei Changyao New Materials Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.

Participants listened to the report on the preliminary investigation and preparation of the standard, and fully exchanged the current application status and technical indicators of the phosphogypsum slag cement-based material in the stabilized layer of the highway pavement base course, and clarified the division of labor and standard compilation of the participating units progress, and put forward opinions and suggestions on key points such as the main chapter structure of the standard, key technical indicators, and test verification.

The standard will be formulated on the basis of domestic engineering practice, under the premise of full investigation and experimental verification, combined with the characteristics of phosphogypsum slag cement-based stabilized layer of flexural strength, high compressive strength, good frost resistance, and micro-swelling. The standard intends to stipulate the raw materials, composition design, production, construction, test methods and inspection rules of the stabilized layer of phosphogypsum slag cement-based materials, so as to ensure the safety and economy of the road base, and Realize the development of phosphogypsum resource comprehensive utilization industry.
