Development Launch online meeting of CCPA standard Ultra-high Performance Concrete (UHPC) Decorative Products was held in Beijing on March 5, 2021. The standard is in the CCPA Standards Development Plan of 2020 and proposed by CCPA GRC Branch.  Over 80 representatives from CCPA, CCPA GRC Branch, China Building Materials Academy and other research institutes, construction group, GRC producers and etc. attended the meeting.

The representatives of the meeting listened to the report on the preliminary investigation and preparation of the standard. Current situation and existing issues of UHPC decorative products in China were fully discussed. The division of tasks and standard drafting progress of each member in the drafting group were clarified. Moreover, opinions and suggestions on key points such as standard scope, main technical requirements and tests were put forward.

UHPC decorative products, featured with ultra-high strength, versatility, excellent durability, can be widely used in external faces or designated parts of various buildings and constructions, as well as municipal and landscape projects. The purpose of Ultra-high Performance Concrete (UHPC) Decorative Products is to standardize the market and ensure the quality of UHPC decorative products, so as to play a technical support role in its industrial development.
