Review meeting of CCPA standard Foamed Cement-based Composite Insulation Board was held by CCPA and CBMF in Beijing on July 21. 22 representatives from research and architectural design institutes, industry associations, producers and users attended the meeting, of which 15 were members of review committee.

The main drafters of the standard introduced the standard preparation process, the collection of comments and the test data that support the main technical requirements in the standard. The review committee reviewed all the documents, examined the standard text word by word and put forward revisions. The review committee made conclusion that technical indexes of the standard are advanced and applicable and it reaches the domestic advanced level in general. Finally, the standard was approved by unanimous approval.

Based on the research results of the 13th five-year plan national key project, Technology  Development and Engineering Demonstration of Light Thermal Insulation Materials Based on High-active Powder from Solid Waste, the standard Foamed Cement-based Composite Insulation Board improves the thermal conductivity and volume water absorption index on the basis of domestic research and basic verification. The implementation of the standard will be of great significance to improve the performance and quality of foamed cement-based composite insulation board and realize the green development of construction industry.
