Competition Purpose:

In recent years, with the strong promotion of national ecological civilization construction, the concept of " Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" has been deeply rooted in people's hearts. With its unique functions of ecological protection, environmental restoration, landscape greening, culture and art, and improving the urban heat island effect, eco-concrete has been paid more and more attention, and ushered in a broader market development space. In the fields of municipal engineering, water conservancy and transportation, road traffic, architecture and garden landscape, three-dimensional greening of buildings & structures, ecological environment protection and restoration engineering, marine pastures and artificial islands and reefs, etc., ecological concrete has gradually become an indispensable structural and functional material. Functionalization, high performance, serialization and integration are becoming the development direction of eco-concrete.

In order to better support China's ecological civilization construction and promote the innovation and development of the eco-concrete industry, China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association decided to hold the China Eco-Concrete Design & Application Competition, to promote technological innovation, application scenario Innovation and industrial upgrading, and accelerate the process of industrialization of raw concrete technology to industrialization, engineering and commercialization.

Each of them is awarded with first, second and third prizes and excellent prizes.

※    The awards are mainly evaluated from the aspects of ecological function, environmental protection function, creative design, modeling and expression, material and structure innovation, structural safety and stability, production technology, construction convenience, implementation effect, etc., with high standard requirements.

Competition Requirements:

●     The entries must take concrete structures and products as the object or concrete as the carrier. Besides satisfying the structural performance requirements of the project, the entries also have significant ecological environment landscape functions. They have outstanding highlights and characteristics in material and structure innovation, production technology, ecological environment management and restoration, creative design, modeling and expression, and have broad market application and promotion Broad prospects.

●     The participates: Relevant concrete products and related production enterprises, engineering design, construction enterprises, municipal administration, water conservancy and water transportation, environment., relevant scientific research institutes and universities. Encourage collaborative innovation and joint application of Industry University Research Institute etc.

●     The competition is a public benefit activity, and no fees will be charged to the participating projects.

Workflow & Schedule:

●     From May to August in 2021, submit the application materials, and promote the competition.

●     September 2021, set up a review committee and pre-reviews the entries.

●     October 2021, expert review meeting.

●     November 2021, the evaluation results will be publicized and objection handling will be handled, and the winning works collection will be designed and produced.

●     December 2021, awards and commendation meeting, technology innovation forum, award-winning achievements exhibition in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.

●     From January to March 2022, publicity report and display tour of the winning achievements of the competition.

Deadline for Submission: August 31st, 2021

Submit Materials:

●     Fill in the Application Form and Entry Description Form (Download from the official website http://www.ccpa.com.cn)

●     Pictures of entries (300 DPI, over 1M, JPG format, no less than 8 pictures)

●     PPT or video of entries (include creative design, process technology, engineering application and application effect, and it should be no more than 8 minutes)

●     Note: all entries should be sent in electronic form to ecoconcrete@ccpa.com.cn.
