On August 8, the China-Mongolia Standards in Building Materials Field Forum was held in Beijing co-sponsored by the Standardization Administration (SAC) and the Mongolian Standards and Metrology Bureau. Representatives from Mongolian Building Standardization Technical Committee, Mongolian cement manufacturers, China standardization research institutes, China Building Materials Inspection and Certification Group, China United Cement Corporation and others attended the meeting.

Mr. Gerbak Gantumur, Director-General of Mongolian Standards and Metrology Bureau, and Yin Minghan, Deputy Director of Standards Committee, attended the meeting. China and Mongolia exchanged the latest situation of standard cooperation in the field of building materials between the two countries, discussed the concrete ways of carrying out standardization cooperation in the field of cement, and agreed to establish an expert working group to continuously promote mutual recognition of standards in the field of building materials.

The successful holding of this forum will strengthen the cooperation of China and Mongolia's technical standards system in the field of building materials, and realize the sustained progress and enhancement of the cooperation ability of China and Mongolia in the field of building materials by means of joint research, bilateral comparison and exchange of standard technical information.
