Aiming at the problems occurred in the production of steel cylinder with large diameter in the process of Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe (PCCP), a new type of production equipment for steel cylinder with large diameter is developed, which integrates the functions of displacement, lifting and reversing, and achieves the continuous completion of several steps in the original production process. The project has applied for 1 national invention patents and has been authorized 1 national utility model patent. 

The main innovations of the project are as follows.

I. The base is composed of vertical sliding panel, beam, driving device and supporting frame.

II. Steel cylinder turning device includes a detachable guide rail connecting to the ground arranged below the base, and a number of guide wheels adapted to the guide rail articulated at the bottom of the base.

III. There are at least two rollers on the bracket, each roller is connected with a hydraulic motor, which drives the roller to rotate around its axis, and the steel cylinder can be moved to a designated position through the movement and lifting of the bracket.

IV. The upper clamping jaw is arranged along the direction of the bracket, including the upper drive device, the upper lever, the upper support and the upper fixture block; the lower clamping jaw is perpendicular to the length of the bracket, including the lower driving device and the lower lever.
