On September 4, the steel plate composite beam project of the Mianyang-Xichong Expressway, which was built by China 19th Metallurgical Corporation, was started.
The project is located in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, with a planned construction period of 60 days. It is a key project for the opening of the Mianxi Expressway. The design draws on the patented method of German VFT. And this is the first steel plate composite beam bridge in Sichuan, which greatly facilitates the construction, reduces the traffic disturbance and saves the amount of steel.
