2. Standardization work related to concrete engineering
2.1 Compilation of full-text mandatory standards in construction field
In 2019, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued relative documents again: in accordance with the requirements of the Opinions of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on Deepening the Reform of Standardization of Engineering Construction (GB [2016] No.166) on the construction of China's full-text mandatory engineering construction specifications (hereinafter referred to as engineering specifications), the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development organized several units to compile engineering specifications. According to the international common practice, the engineering specifications will replace the existing mandatory provisions after being issued, and serve as the basic requirements for binding the recommended standards and group standards. In 2020, some engineering codes passed the examination and were issued and implemented one after another, which once again provided strong technical support for the guarantee of engineering quality and strengthened the importance of engineering codes in the engineering field.
2.2 Group standards have developed rapidly
With the reform and improvement of the national standard system, the constant updating and release of group standards such as association standards and society standards have further improved the concrete standardization system. Group standards should not only complement the national standards, but also reflect the advancement of standards, and promote the progress of industry technology and the improvement of engineering quality.
2.3 Updating related standards and putting forward advanced standards
The standards for raw materials such as high-performance cement, aggregate for high-performance concrete, functional composite admixture, and advanced durability test methods have been reviewed successively. These standards will provide standard basis for enterprises to improve their production technology, guide the production of high-quality raw materials by insisting on standard guidance, and provide important standard basis and premise guarantee for the popularization and application of high-performance concrete.
