The project of “Production technology of group erected formwork of precast concrete stairs” by China Construction Science & Technology Group and China Construction Science & Technology Shenshan Company won the second prize of 2020 CCPA Concrete Science and Technology Award (Technology Innovation).

As one of the most commonly used PC products in prefabricated buildings, stairs are usually produced by horizontal and vertical fixed formwork in China. This production process can not meet the needs of large-scale production. There are also problems such as large floor area, low production efficiency, unstable quality and high production cost, which limits the development needs of prefabricated stairs.

Production technology of group erected formwork of precast concrete stairs is finally developed. The project has the advantages of small floor area, high production efficiency, low cost and stable product quality.

The mold cavity is an independent system, separated from the base. It can move horizontally through the hydraulic clamping device, and then the mold can be disassembled and closed quickly.

A hydraulic clamping device is developed, which could adjust the mold cavity through the hydraulic station flexibly, and improve the speed of opening and closing the mold.

The universal mold system is suitable for stairs and floors with different specifications and sizes. There is no need to replacing the frame system to producing stairs of different size, only replacing the molding surface of the template.
