After five months' construction, the 499.8-meter super high-rise core tube ±0.00 plates of Greenland Jinmao International Financial Center, Phase I, Zone 3, Section 1 of the underground space in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area, were officially poured, which indicates that the construction of the skyline in the core area of Jiangbei New Area is about to kick off.

After five months' construction, the 499.8-meter super high-rise core tube ±0.00 plates of Greenland Jinmao International Financial Center, Phase I, Zone 3, Section 1 of the underground space in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area, were officially poured, which indicates that the construction of the skyline in the core area of Jiangbei New Area is about to kick off.

The height of the main structure of Greenland Jinmao International Financial Center is 478.70 meters, and the height of the top of the tower is about 21 meters, totaling about 500 meters, which refreshes the city skyline again. After the completion of the tallest building in Nanjing and even in Jiangsu, it will become a new landmark of the national Jiangbei New District! Greenland Jinmao Financial Center is expected to be completed in 2025-2026.

On the afternoon of August 23rd, 2021, the 499.8-meter super high-rise Nanjing Greenland Jinmao Financial Center, which was built by Shanghai Construction No.5 (Group) Co., Ltd., successfully completed the construction of 33,800 cubic meters of super-large volume of large floor concrete, and the scale of one-time continuous concrete pouring ranked first in the history of Shanghai Construction Group Co., Ltd. This also indicated that the construction of the largest and most complicated single underground space project in China was advancing at full speed.

The mass concrete floor of Nanjing Greenland Jinmao International Financial Center has a single pouring volume of 33,800 cubic meters, a thickness of 5,500 mm and a strength grade of C50P10, which belongs to high strength. At the pouring site, 230 concrete mixers and 12 automobile pumps were used. Four mixing stations and several concrete production lines were operating in an orderly manner simultaneously.

The successful installation of steel bars is the key for such a large amount of concrete to be poured at one time. This time, the sole main reinforcement of the floor weighs 140 kg, with a total of about 56,000 pieces and a total weight of 7,850 tons. Thanks to "BIM smart construction Technology", the project department relies on the intelligent construction mode of "BIM+ Smart Construction Site", uses BIM modeling to deepen, analyzes the possible collision problems between steel bars and embedded parts, assists in the installation of steel bars and embedded parts on site, and successfully avoids the occurrence of large-scale rework operations on site.

Besides the large amount of irrigation, vehicle transportation is also a test. During the whole casting period, there were about 3,400 cumulative transportation trips. Using BIM animation modeling, the project department conducted dynamic simulation exercises on the whole process of construction site layout, traffic organization, concrete pouring and other technologies and construction schemes, which made the scheme discussion more scientific and the management vision more global. All 230 concrete mixers are equipped with GPS satellite positioning system, and emergency measures will be taken immediately to ensure the continuous supply of concrete in case of the abnormal situations such as traffic jams and vehicle breakdowns.

There is also an intelligent large screen at the construction site, which is also the first time that the "Monitoring, Dispatching and Command System for Mass Concrete Pouring Large Screen" has been used in the construction of Shanghai Construction Group Co., Ltd.

According to the construction requirements, heavy rain should be avoided during the concrete pouring period. Therefore, the project department also uses the "site version" weather forecast to determine the best window period for pouring, and arranges an ambulance at the site to do a good job of logistics support during the pandemic prevention and control period.
