Recently, CCCC First Harbor Engineering Company announced that the cement concrete pavement of the first section of Xiang'an Bridge A3 project has been completed, which is a good start in the main construction stage of the bridge deck.

According to Xiamen Daily, it is reported that the bridge deck pavement construction point is located on the left side of the 20th beam of the main line, with a full width of 15 meters and a length of 105 meters. "This section is a standard section of box girder with typical construction. Therefore, we choose this section for preliminary construction in order to accumulate experience for subsequent work." According to the person in charge of the project, in this construction, in order to reduce errors and improve construction efficiency, the full-automatic truss laser paver is adopted for the first time. This “magic machine”could regulate the elevation position of the paver automatically by its computer-controlled driving hydraulic system, which can control the elevation and flatness of the pavement with high precision, and the error fluctuates within 2mm, greatly reducing the error caused by manual operation.

After 8 hours of rush work, the cement concrete pavement construction of the first section of A3 cast-in-situ box girder bridge surface has been successfully completed, and the project is one step closer to the completion and opening to traffic in 2023. At present, the paving cement concrete has solidified. In the next step, the project department will continue to promote the bridge deck pavement and make full preparations for the whole line of bridge deck construction.
