As an important material of concrete, the research and production technology of concrete admixture in China is at the forefront of the world, with its output accounting for about 60% of the world. At present, China has very high requirements for concrete in many aspects, such as construction engineering, hydropower engineering, nuclear power engineering, large bridges, high-speed railways and highways, etc. The performance of concrete is largely determined by admixtures. With the development of China's construction industry, the emergence of a large number of offshore projects and the expansion of railway traffic to marginal areas, higher requirements are put forward for concrete.

 

1. Baihetan Hydropower Station


Baitan Hydropower Station, located on the Jinsha River at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan, is the second of the four water elevators in the lower reaches of the Jinsha River, with the largest power generation. Baitan Dam is a concrete double-curvature arch dam, with a maximum height of 289m, a thickness of 83.9m, and an arc length of the center line of the dam crest of 709m, with a total of 31 dam sections. The total concrete volume of the main dam is 8 million cubic meters, which is the largest 300-meter dam project with low-heat concrete in the world.

In order to ensure the engineering quality and improve the crack resistance and durability of dam concrete, Sobute New Materials Co., Ltd. developed a special admixture for low-heat cement in Baihetan Hydropower Station according to the performance characteristics and actual engineering requirements of low-heat cement used in Baihetan.


2.Area F Offshore Wind Farm of FuNeng Sanchuan Pingwan Bay

On the morning of April 8th, 2020, the grouting construction of the first pile of the world's largest diameter rock-socketed single pile in Area F Offshore Wind Farm of Funeng Sanchuan Pingwan Bay, a key project in Fujian Province with Sobute New Materials 's participation, was successfully completed.

The implanted single rock-socketed pile is 62 meters long, 6.7 meters in diameter and weighs 740 tons, setting a new world record for the largest diameter of offshore wind power rock-socketed pile. In this project, JGM®-SP series wind turbine foundation grouting materials and special additives are used to realize underwater grouting construction, which guarantees the quality and safety of offshore wind power construction projects. With the development of offshore wind power with higher power, higher standing, deeper water depth and more complicated sea conditions, higher requirements and challenges are put forward for high-performance grouting material, which is an important structural material for connecting steel pipe piles with superstructure.

  

3. Green Center Chengdu Shu Feng 468 super high-rise project


Green Center Chengdu Shu Feng 468 project is the tallest building in western China. There are a large number of vertical reinforcing bars and ribs in the huge column cavity and core tube, and the reinforcing bars are densely distributed, so it is impossible to vibrate with vibrating equipment. Therefore, C60 and C70 self-compacting concrete should be used for pouring. With long pumping pipeline, high floor and high pump pressure and after the concrete reaches the distributor, it needs to slip down from a string tube of about 10m, which requires high cohesion and workability of concrete. In addition to meeting the fluidity and flow retention capacity of concrete during construction time, the viscosity and homogeneity of concrete must also be maintained in an optimal state.

According to the special requirements of the project structure, China West Construction Group New Material Technology Co., Ltd. selected four kinds of mother liquor from the company's existing products with small materials such as viscosity reduction, water retention, air entraining, defoaming agent, etc., and compounded them into Greenland 468 super-high-rise pumping admixture, which had a good effect in the pumping process of Greenland 468 super-high-rise and achieved excellent results of zero pipe blockage in the process.

 

4. Terminal 3 of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport

 

On December 15th, 2021, Terminal 3 of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport Phase III Expansion Project, which was undertaken by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd and contracted by China West Construction Group Guizhou Co., Ltd. was officially opened to traffic.

After in-depth research, repeated simulation tests and repeated test data, China West Construction Group Guizhou Co., Ltd. conducted more than 100 tests for more than 50 days, and finally developed C40 super retarded self-compacting underwater non-dispersible concrete with excellent performance and customer satisfaction. The product can keep good working performance within 72 hours, and has excellent underwater self-compacting anti-scouring and non-dispersion performance.


5.  Nanning International Airport Integrated Transportation Hub Project


Nanning International Airport Integrated Transportation Hub Project is the first integrated transportation hub in Guangxi that integrates civil aviation, intercity railways, highways and urban rail transit.

 

KZJ New Materials Group Co., Ltd. sent technicians to respond quickly to the needs of the project, and started the concrete mixing proportion adjustment test.

The constructor used KZJ Point series polycarboxylate superplasticizer, and after continuous construction, successfully poured 1,200 cubic meters of concrete into the right side of shield machine entrance of airport tunnel project of urban rail transit airport line. Finally, the concrete with KZJ admixture can meet the requirements of the engineering party on concrete workability, strength and electric flux. On March 23, 2021, a total of 2,500 cubic meters of concrete was poured into the airport line of urban rail transit and introduced into the entrance of shield machine of airport tunnel project. The excellent concrete quality ensured the progress and quality of the project.


6.Beijing Daxing International Airport


The construction difficulty of Beijing Daxing International Airport amazed the whole world.
