Ultra-high performance concrete, research and development team of China West Construction Building Materials Science Research Institute have visited the project department multiple times for technical exchanges, organized mix ratio verification, mix ratio pilot test, construction scheme simulation calculation and verification, expert review, etc., to ensure that all indicators of ultra-high performance concrete remain stable, and the construction plan for large volume and ultra-high performance concrete is feasible.

Tuojiang Bridge has a total length of 455 meters and has "super wide bridge deck, super large cable tension, and complex spatial tower columns". For this reason, the bridge design and construction adopted new materials such as "ultra large volume RPC concrete, 2000MPa grade high-strength steel wire", and also adopted new design methods "3D BIM forward design", as well as new construction technologies such as "ultra large tonnage walking multi-point synchronous launching". After the completion of this bridge, it will surpass the Egypt Wansui Bridge, which is 67.3 meters wide, and become the new world's tallest bridge.
