A severe fire broke out at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po District, New Territories, Hong Kong, resulting in significant casualties and drawing concern from people across the nation. Immediately after the incident, the Zhongshan Jianhua Charity Foundation—initiated by Jianhua Holding Group—activated its emergency response mechanism. The Foundation proactively contacted the Zhongshan Red Cross to inquire about donation channels and procedures, and on December 1, 2025, donated RMB 11 million (equivalent to HKD 12.1 million) through the Zhongshan Red Cross to support humanitarian relief and post-disaster reconstruction in the Wang Fuk Court area of Tai Po District, New Territories.
