The Technical Code of Chongqing Smart City Management Information System, led by Chongqing Jiangbei District Urban Administration Bureau, has passed the expert review recently, which marks the first smart city management sector standard on provincial level in China formally promulgated, pointing out the direction for smart city management and construction in Chongqing.

The standard was officially launched in 2015, combined with the actual situation of Chongqing city management, based on more than six years of experience in the construction of smart city management system of Chongqing Jiangbei District Urban Management Bureau. Its content mainly includes 11 chapters and 4 appendices, including terms and definitions, business system formwork, performance requirements, operation environment, information security, system acceptance requirements, operation and maintenance requirements and system operation evaluation.

In recent years, Jiangbei District has taken the lead in setting up a "1322" framework system of comprehensive information platform for smart city management and a new flat urban management operation mechanism in Chongqing by means of informationization and intellectualization. The publication of this technical code is not only the first standard nationwide, but also follows the relevant principles of the top-level design guidelines for smart cities, embodying the spirit of innovation and active exploration of Chongqing city, laying a standard system for the construction of smart city management and the application of related technologies in the whole city, and will promote the management and construction of smart cities throughout the country.
