On October 23rd, the main arch of Jianhe Xixiu Bridge was successfully closed in Jianhe County, Guizhou Province. This also marked that the overall construction progress of the bridge had been completed by 83.1%, and the construction had entered the final stage.

On September 5th, a roller compacted concrete core sample with a length of 26.5 meters and a diameter of 250 millimeters was successfully extracted from the Yunnan TB hydropower station dam constructed by Power China Sinohydro Engineering Bureau 8 Co.,Ltd, setting a new world record.

New record! The pouring of RPC140 for the solid connection of beam and tower of Tuojiang Bridge has been successfully completed by China West Construction Building Materials Science Research Institute
On August 19th, the pouring of RPC140 for the solid connection of beam and tower of Tuojiang Bridge has been successfully completed by China West Construction Building Materials Science Research Institute. In this project, there were 6560 m3 RPC supplied by China West Construction Building Materials Science Research Institute, which set a new record for the construction of largest volume RPC main structure for civil use in the world.

“Black Technology”in temperature control and crack prevention of mass concrete of the Dongting Creek Yuan River Bridge of Zhangjiajie-Guanzhuang Expressway
“This noon, the south tower bearing concrete has reached the temperature peak. Now it is time for cooling. Please control the temperature difference between inside and outside and its cooling speed.” According to the monitoring data provided by the mass concrete hydration heat intelligent monitoring system, the monitoring unit can timely issue temperature control instructions, which is an innovative practice of the Dongting Creek Yuan River Bridge of Zhangjiajie-Guanzhuang Expressway and also an epitome of promoting the “intelligent construction”.

Successful grouting of the first 150 meter pile of underwater ultra-high performance concrete by special admixture for marine engineering
CSCEC China West Construction Group New Material Technology Co., Ltd. The star product of CSCEC China West Construction Building Materials Research Institute "Rapid Repair-I" has been successfully applied
On March 26 2022, the rapid repair material "Rapid Repair-I", independently developed by CSCEC China West Construction Building Materials Research Institute, was successfully applied in an airport in Chengdu. In order to ensure the safety of aircraft takeoff and landing, the airport runway board needs to be repaired quickly without affecting the navigation. The "Rapid Repair-I" successfully solved this problem by its good working performances and ultra-fast hardening and early strength mechanical properties. The complete process of mobilization - cutting - roughening - mixing - pouring - demobilization - navigation takes no more than 2 hours, which was highly recognized by the owner.
