“Black Technology”in temperature control and crack prevention of mass concrete of the Dongting Creek Yuan River Bridge of Zhangjiajie-Guanzhuang Expressway
“This noon, the south tower bearing concrete has reached the temperature peak. Now it is time for cooling. Please control the temperature difference between inside and outside and its cooling speed.” According to the monitoring data provided by the mass concrete hydration heat intelligent monitoring system, the monitoring unit can timely issue temperature control instructions, which is an innovative practice of the Dongting Creek Yuan River Bridge of Zhangjiajie-Guanzhuang Expressway and also an epitome of promoting the “intelligent construction”.

Successful grouting of the first 150 meter pile of underwater ultra-high performance concrete by special admixture for marine engineering
CSCEC China West Construction Group New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CSCEC New Material") has successfully developed a special admixture for marine ultra-high performance concrete. On July 11, added with this admixture, 150m cast-in-place piles of Hangzhou Bay Bridge has been poured, marking a new breakthrough in the construction of high-speed railway sea crossing bridges.

The star product of CSCEC China West Construction Building Materials Research Institute "Rapid Repair-I" has been successfully applied
On March 26 2022, the rapid repair material "Rapid Repair-I", independently developed by CSCEC China West Construction Building Materials Research Institute, was successfully applied in an airport in Chengdu. In order to ensure the safety of aircraft takeoff and landing, the airport runway board needs to be repaired quickly without affecting the navigation. The "Rapid Repair-I" successfully solved this problem by its good working performances and ultra-fast hardening and early strength mechanical properties. The complete process of mobilization - cutting - roughening - mixing - pouring - demobilization - navigation takes no more than 2 hours, which was highly recognized by the owner.

On January 17th, 2023 China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association organized the scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting for the project entitled as "Research and application of key technologies for 160 meter ultra high wind turbine tower", which was completed by Beijing TENSAM Technology Co., Ltd (TENSAM) and CGN Wind Power Co., Ltd.

The concrete box girder of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge of the core project of Greater Bay Area has been prefabricated
The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge runs across Pearl River and is a world-class large-scale project integrating "bridges, islands, tunnels and underwater connectivity". The total length of the project is about 24 kilometers，of which the bridges are about 17 kilometers long. There are Lingdingyang Bridge, which is a suspension bridge with a main span of 1666 meters; Zhongshan Bridge,which is a cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 580 meters; and several approach bridges.

The carbon fiber reinforced cable-stayed bridge in China was opened to traffic!
Recently, in Liaocheng City Xinghua Bridge across Tuhai River, a carbon fiber reinforced cable-stayed bridge in China constructed by the First Company of China Eighth Engineering Bureau Ltd., was completed and opened to traffic.
